   I am Barthelemy R. I was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where I have taught French literature and Social Sciences as a secondary school teacher for several years before immigrating to the United States around the late 1980s. I have worked for the School District of Palm Beach County for more than twenty years and I am a founding member of the Palm Beach County School District Translation Team to which I have served as a leader in many instances. I have also worked at the district as a social services facilitator, a multicultural trainer, and an ESOL instructor. During my years as team leader and multicultural trainer, I have participated in the training of more than 400 school-based community language facilitators. 

In addition, I am a published writer who have presented at the national level on the issues of community translation and interpreting at the American Translators’ Association 37th Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA. I have contributed several articles with international and local publications such as Haiti-Progrès, Kreyòl Connection, and The Palm Beach Post. In 2011 I was also acclaimed a Poetry Contest Laureate in Fort-de-France, Martinique at the 3rd edition of Caribbean Creole languages Poetry Contest.

Currently, I am freelancing for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Palm Beach County where I am recognized by the State of Florida as a certified court interpreter and translator. As a professional linguist and educator, I count more than twenty years of experience serving in the languages of  English, Haitian Creole, and French

I am Barthelemy N.   I was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  I earned a bachelor's degree in applied linguistics.  I was granted a scholarship toward the SIT Graduate Institute (Vermont, US) in order to earn a Master's degree in TESOL and Conflict Transformation Accross Culture. 

  l  worked as a Peace & social services facilitator, a multicultural trainer and an ESOL instructor in  Latin America(Spanish), Haiti(Creole, French) and surburbs of South Florida. 

In addition, I am a  writerpreneur. 

 As a professional linguist and creolist, I count more than 7 years of pure linguistic services in Spanish, English, French, and most notably Haitian Creole.

As a full time and devoted linguist,  keeping my word is a beacon toward my client's satisfaction.
